All data from Sevall who writes, "... Edwin George Hoyt who is myGreat Grandfather. I have not been able to locate his birth records asI'm not sure of his birthdate. But I know that he was John and
Sidney's son because in the history of Morgan County Col. HoytCommunity was named for Dr. James A. Hoyt by his mother Sidney and itstates that they homesteaded the land and tells that she came with hersons James A. and Edwin G. In the 1910 census of Weld County Col.Edwin G. is listed as being 42 years. and also lists his wife asAnnettie being 36. Their children are listed as Edwin Jr. 11 ( Whostarted my interest in genealogy at the age of 17), Gertrude 7 {Trudyto my mom} Julia 15, Kate 13, Raymond 3 {birthdate was Sept. 13}Reginald 9 {my wonderful grandfather Birthday June 10 1901} Roland 5,and William 1. On my Great Great grandmothers obit. it has herdaughter Kate Arnetta listed as Mrs. E. G. Hoyt. I have not been ableto find a marriage record on them, nor where they are buried. I havenot been able to find where either Sidney nor John Hoyt are buried.James Albert Hoyt is buried in Hoyt Colorado as well as some of hischildren and where my
Grandfather and some of my Aunts are also buried Rhodes Davis who isSidneys brother is also buried there Along with My great grandmotherKate Arnetta's Parents Joseph Michael Rawlings and Julia Ann FosterRawlings. I found John and Sidney marriage records on the internet ina History of Richardson County,Nebraska. It is also in the library inthe same book. The history I have obtained on the Hoyt Community is inthe library in Fort Morgan Col. it is the County seat in MorganCounty. The info on the Census was from a book in the library here inCheyenne Wy.
