Charles was often referred to as Eugene, as not to be confused withhis uncle, the Doctor Charles Wright of Delavan, WI. Charles was inthe insurance business. Arlyle, formally of Waldo, now living inOostburg, WI, remembers going to his and grandmother's house inMilwaukee with her father Paul Buelke. It was there that Eugene soldhis first insurance policy to Paul to cover Paul's son Norman.
Eugene sold a Boston Bull puppy to Bob McIntyre's father for 15dollars. It developed distemper, raced through the house as a madthing, barking and yipping. One day it went through the closed screendoor and ran down the block. After that incident he was put to sleep.
Soon after his death, his wife left the area...reason uncertain.Robert McIntyre remembers my mom, my grandmother and a lot of Eugene.Apparently in his youth he was called "Beanie".
