Data from Piechoski. Since George died in Feb and Marshall was bornin July of the same year it is supposed that Marshall was George'sson. Note from McLeester - It is possible that Marshall Parker, thesecond husband of Mamie, mother of young Marshall, may have known andbeen friends with the Smith family. This could have led Mamie to namethis son, born after her first husband's death, after this MarshallParker. Behling-McLeester gives him as Marshall Parker Smith.
Piechoski assigns him as a child of Mamie and John M. Parker.
