Data from McLeester and Behling. On marriage certificate dated October23, 1881, name is given as Anna M. M. Lang. The marriage wasperformed by Snyder B. Symes at the Gloria Die Church in the OldSwedes' Parsonage.
The following paragraph was written from memory by Marian from whather father August known as Gus told her:
"I believe that the Lang family who were fairly well-to-do, did notapprove of Anna's marriage to Charles. When Charles opened a laundry,Anna worked long, hard hours with him in the business. The Langfamily blamed Charles for her contracting T.B. because of theconditions in their business and because she worked so hard there."
