In memoriam Jun 1970 Archie A. Jacobs
Archie A. Jacobs, 63, a resident of 202 Sedgewick Dr., Long Beach,died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday in Gulfport Memorial Hospital. A residentof the Gulf Coast since 1947, Mr. Jacobs resided previously in Tulsa,Okla.
Born April 10, 1907 in LaFlore County, Okla., he was a veteran ofWorld War II, serving with the U. S. Naval Seabee Battalion 121. Hewas a member of the Brickmason's Union, Local 10, Gulfport; and aProtestant by faith.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Helen Reed Jacobs, Long Beach; adaughter, Mrs. Frank (Rita) Smith, Northwood Hills, Gulfport; twograndchildren; four brothers, Walter Jacobs, Tulsa; R. L. Jacobs,Dewey, Okla.; Hubert Jacobs, Wichita, Kan., and Paul Jacobs, Seattle,Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Edwards, Hanaford, Calif.; and Mrs.Julia Collins, Tulsa.
Friends may call after 6 p. m. Monday at Reimann's Long Beach funeralhome where services will be held at 3 p. m. Tuesday with Rev. S.Wesley Toal, pastor, St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, Long Beach,officating.
interment will be in Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport.
